He received additional training in reconstructive and traumatological surgery.

He has both lectured to his peers and also contributed as author to the leading surgical textbook in his field. His special interests include diabetic limb salvage, fracture care, elective and reconstructive foot surgery, and pediatric foot care and he values the collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. He also shares a similar passion preventative foot care and sports medicine and is an alumnus of both Pineville High School and Louisiana College, where he graduated with honors.
Dr. Wilson’s decision to return back to Rapides Parish as a well-trained, respected leader in podiatric care fulfils a lifelong desire to give back to his hometown through his extensive, clinical and surgical experience and genuine interest in the community. He is actively involved in several local organizations and is a supporter of many area events including the Louisiana College Wildcats. Personally, Dr. Wilson enjoys outdoor activities, photography, and time with his wife, Gloria, and friends.
